AACC Opens Nominations for the 2026 All Africa Youth Network Entrepreneurship Awards
The All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) has opened nominations for the 2026 All Africa Youth Network (AAYN) Entrepreneurship Awards seeking to recognize, celebrate and support faith-inspired youth-led enterprises that demonstrate creativity, responsible stewardship and a commitment to building the Africa we want through the “Africa: My Home. My Future.” campaign.
The awards are structured around three categories that reflect key dimensions of Africa’s development:
The Digital Innovation & Enterprise Award recognizes young entrepreneurs using digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, fintech, Agritech, health technology and education technology, to address social and economic challenges.
The Stewards of Creation Award celebrates enterprises advancing environmental sustainability while creating livelihoods and resilient communities. This includes initiatives in renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, waste management, recycling, biodiversity conservation, water conservation and the circular economy.
The Builders of African Unity Award recognizes enterprises using entrepreneurship to advance African unity, social cohesion, peacebuilding, regional integration and cross-border collaboration.
Each award recipient will receive USD 2,000, to be invested in a demonstrated business need. Shortlisted entrepreneurs will also gain visibility within the AAYN community, opportunities for networking and collaboration, and recognition as AACC Youth Entrepreneurship Champions, with opportunities to engage in future AACC youth entrepreneurship initiatives.
The programme is open to entrepreneurs aged 18–35 who are affiliated with an AACC member church or national council of churches. Enterprises must be legally registered, align with at least one award category and demonstrate a clear contribution to social impact or sustainable development.
Young entrepreneurs may nominate themselves, while eligible persons from AACC member churches and affiliated organizations may also nominate entrepreneurs.
